The Usual Suspects had one of the best endings ever, and if you haven’t seen it, we won’t spoil it, but the movie always asked a very important question…who is Kayser Soze?
Now Digital Spy reports that there’s an upcoming graphic novel will tell us the origin of the famous Usual Suspects villain, and we’re not nuts about this development, because it would take a lot of the mystery out of the movie.
The graphic novel is being released through Red 5 Comics, and it’s a prequel that takes place nine years before the original movie. The announcement of the graphic novel comes in time for the 20th anniversary of the movie, and the issue will finally be out in 2016.
Again, if you’ve been reading us long enough, you know we’re not nuts about stories that give us the backstory to everything. The more mystery there is to Keyser, the better, and there’s still plenty of great thing in the original movie that thankfully will never be uncovered, which is just the way we like it.
