Rooster Teeth to Finally Hit the Big Screen With Lazer Team

You may recall some time back there was a group of guys in Texas who did Drunk Gamers, then Red Vs Blue, where the Halo video game was redubbed with hilarious new dialog.

Now the Roosterteeth gang is taking the next step, with Lazer Team, their first full blown feature film, which as long time fans, we at TG are very excited about.

The Rooster Teeth gang came to Comic-Con, which didn’t get as much attention as Star Wars and Deadpool, but we think this could what could finally push Rooster Teeth over to the mainstream discovering and loving them.

This is also another big step for Rooster Teeth, because instead of dubbing over a video game, “The fun part was that we could control everything ourselves and make the movie exactly the way we wanted it to be,” especially with the help of crowdfunding, which raised over $2 million for the movie’s budget.

We don’t have an official release date yet, but the Rooster Teeth people told the ‘Con audience to expect the movie some time this year.
