Star Wars: Spoil This and Die

Everything on the new Star Wars movie is top, top secret, that’s no news flash. Even if JJ Abrams wasn’t doing Star Wars, he’s always in secret mode with everything he does no matter what, and one can only imagine how much security and secrecy is currently involved.

Yet this doesn’t mean that Abrams doesn’t have a sense of humor. A picture went out on Twitter of a poster that’s been posted at Pinewood Studios: “Loose Lips Bring Down Starships.” The illustration has Vader choking an Imperial commander. The Hollywood Reporter also told us that producer Frank Marshall tweeted, “Excited to be here at Pinewood, but mum’s the word.”

Kevin Smith was very excited by what he saw, but he can’t talk about it in detail because he had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. This hasn’t been the first time spoiler warnings have been given out in a humorous way.

If I recall correctly, I think the cover of the Spider-Man screenplay warned that if anyone read it or spoiled it, they’d grow hair on their palms. If anyone spoils anything on the next Star Wars, we can only imagine what kind of punishment is in store for the offenders.
