Marvel Announces a Remarkable Slate of Movies

Right after Marvel announced that Benedict Cumberbatch will play Doctor Strange, the company has also announced a whole new slate of movies that will end out the decade. One major title is certainly not a surprise, but what is a surprise is that the last chapter of Marvel’s biggest franchise will be split into two parts.

It’s been rumored that the third Avengers will be a two-parter, and as Indie Wire reports, the third installment is subtitled Infinity War with Part One set to be released in May 4, 2018, and Part II coming May 3, 2019.

Two other big franchises will also be coming in 2017 and 2018 respectively, The Black Panther, and The Inhumans. Chadwick Boseman is playing the Black Panther, which will hit theaters on November 3, 2017, and Marvel is hoping The Inhumans can become their next big franchise.

There’s also going to be Captain Marvel, which has a July 6, 2018 release date, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which is coming on May 5, 2017, Thor: Ragnarok, which is slated for a July 28, 2017 release.
