Chicago (IL) - Unlike previous Lara Croft models that mostly came from the world of fashion or acting, the new face of Tomb Raider: Underworld has a different talent.
The new Lara Croft model is no other than Alison Carroll, a 23-year old professional gymnast who represented Great Britain in the past. Prior to being cast as the ultimate female adventurer, Carroll worked as receptionist and trainer for a gymnast junior team that recently won the British National Championship. Just like most athletes, Alison had no luck in finding sponsors that would finance her career.
Luckily, she will become Lara Croft and undergo military training courses in Eastern Europe and endure a crash course in world archaeology. When the training is completed, you will see her in TV commercials and appear on chat shows across the globe, promoting the game.
Tomb Raider: Underworld is set for a release on PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii on November 3, while the game will be released for the Playstation 2 on December 2.
