Ubisoft to host world record attempt at online gaming
London (England) - Ubisoft will try to set a new Guinness world record later this month by putting 1500 gamers in a marathon session of multiplayer gaming over three straight days.
On March 22, Ubisoft and the Guinness World Records will oversee the ambitious event in London. Around 1500 people are signed up to join in a play-till-you-fall session of the Xbox 360's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2.
The event will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday March 22, and continued until "there is no one left standing," according to Ubisoft. Headlining the record-breaking attempt will be the UK Frag Dolls.
If successful, Ubisoft says the feat will be included in the 2009 edition of the Guiness World Record: Gamer's Edition.
