Call of Duty and Guitar Hero nearly doubles Activision’s profit
Santa Monica (CA) – Activision’s financial 3rd quarter profits nearly doubled thanks to brisk sales of Call of Duty 4 and Guitar Hero 3. For the quarter ending December 31st, the company earned $272.2 million or 86 cents a share. This was 90% more than the same period the year where the company made $142.8 million or 46 cents a share.
Revenue soared 80% to $1.48 billion for the quarter.
