Orange Box finally opens up on Playstation 3

Redwood City (CA) - The epic collection of games from Electronic Arts and developer Valve is now available for the PS3, after it was pushed back somewhat due to production delays.

The Orange Box, which has already been out for a couple months on the Xbox 360 and PC, includes Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.

The Half-Life games were originally created for exclusive use on the PC, but with the increased technology and online connectivity allowed with the current generation consoles, Valve decided to bring them to a new market.

The PC-turned-console games bundle is available at retailers now for around $60, the same price as most other PS3 titles.
