Redmond (WA) - In a move that's seemingly just tearing a page out of Nintedo's Wii game plan, Microsoft has launched a new ad campaign designed to show the Xbox 360 as a device the entire family can use.
According to the Associate Press, one TV commercial will show a father and daughter playing Guitar Hero together. The new campaign will show the "Xbox as a connector that brings people together," said Mike Harris, director of youth marketing at Microsoft's internal ad agency.
The family-friendly appeal will be high on Microsoft's list of priorities for the Xbox 360's success during the holiday season. Last month it launched the Xbox 360 Arcade bundle, which includes the 360 Core unit and five Xbox Live Arcade games.
