Halo's Master Chief inaugurated at Madame Tussauds wax museum
Las Vegas (NV) - The face of Halo, Master Chief, has been immortalized as a wax sculpture at the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas museum, beating icons like Mario and Sonic to the punch.
The notable chain of wax museums, which dats back 250 years, has featured actors, directors and politicians, but according to Madame Tussauds video games have been left out of the picture until now.
According to Gamertag Radio, the Master Chief statue weighs 275 pounds and stands to a height of 7 feet, 2 inches.
The new statue comes two weeks before the launch of Halo 3, which will carry the most expensive marketing campaign for a single Xbox or Xbox 360 game. Microsoft is reportedly trying to iron out details to incorporate the wax exhibit into a Vegas launch party of the upcoming Halo title.
