Warner announces Project Origin video game, as the sequel to Fear

  • Burbank (CA) - Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment announced today that it is working on Project Origin, a sequel to the intense action game Fear.

Fear, released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC, is a horror shooter title that was published by Vivendi.  Warner will take control of Project Origin.

The name was chosen as the result of a user submission contest.  "Project Origin is the name we can stand behind since it was picked by the gaming community, and this game marks a new beginning for the franchise," said Warner Interactive vice president Samantha Ryan.

Project Origin will be available for the same three platforms, with a Games For Windows label on the PC version.  Release dates and pricing have not been announced.
