Redwood City (CA) - A new version of Need For Speed is heading to stores this fall, with a multi-console release set to hit eight different platforms.
Need For Speed ProStreet, coming out of EA's Black Box studios in Vancouver, continues the series' focus on building and customizing an entire garage of cars.
In addition to a ramped up creation and customization process, EA says the car's appearance will change dynamically from its races like never before. "Every dent, every scratch and every crumpled body panel is a battle scar, proof of your commitment and competitive mettle," says the games publishing giant.
The game, slated for a Q3 2007 release, will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, DS, PSP, PC, and mobile phones.
