Santa Clara (CA) - The long-running Soul Calibur fighting series is headed for a Wii exclusive. Namco Bandai today announced details on the new fighting game.
Sould Calibur Legends will use the motion sensitive Wii controller and nunchuck to provide what it says will be the most sophisticated fighting game on the console to date.
It will be the first Soul Calibur title since Namco merged with Bandai in 2005, and accordingly, will be the first next-gen entry in the series.
Other entries in the Soul series include Soul Blade, Soul Master, Soul Calibur, and Soul Calibur II (a multi-platform release that was available for the Gamecube).
Soul Calibur Legends is slated for a release during the final months of this year.
