Plug-and-play TV company extends deal with Namco

  • Malibu (CA) - Jakks Pacific, the nationwide market share leader in plug & play TV games, announced today that it has signed a new long-term contract with Namco to bring arcade classics like Pac-Man for several more years.

    "For the past four years, Namco’s ultimate classic arcade games have been an incredible asset to the growth of this line for JAKKS.  To date we have sold more than 15 million units based on Namco’s top-selling franchise," said Jakks VP John Ardell in a press release.

    Jakks has already release plug & play versions of Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, and Galaxian.  Each one has a retail price of around $20.
