Electronic Arts Riccitiello returns as CEO

  • Culver City (CA) - Former Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello will return as the company's CEO in April. Riccitiello succeeds Larry Probst who will stay as Electronic Arts chairman. Riccitiello left Electronic Arts in 2004 to start Elevation Parnter which owns controlling shares in two major development houses, BioWare Corporation and Pandemic Studios LLC.

    Riccitiello will receive $750,000 a year in salary with a possible bonus of another $750,000. He also gets options to buy 850,000 shares of Electronic Arts stock.
