Turtle Beach launches Wii headphones

Elmsford (NY) - Turtle Beach today announced the availability of the Ear Force W3 headphones, a pair of wireless headphones designed for use with the Wii.

Turtle Beach says the W3's behind-the-neck design and the wireless functionality highlight its use with the Wii, along with a color scheme similar to that of the Nintendo system.

The headphones include an audio splitter cable, which allows the Wii audio to get transferred to the wireless transmitter, which runs on AC power.

The headphones can also be used with any stereo audio source, and run on a single AAA battery. The devices are offered at a suggested retail price of $60.
