Video game publisher 2K Games, part of Take-Two Interactive Software, today announced the nationwide availability of Dungeon Siege II: Deluxe Edition. The PC collection includes the original Dungeon Siege II PC game, the Broken World expansion pack, and a handful of limited edition items.

The Dungeon Siege franchise, which was started by Microsoft in 2002, was sold to 2K Games earlier this year. The Broken World expansion was the first in the series to be released under the 2K label. Dungeon Siege II has received acclaim from gamers and critics alike, leading to a PSP version, due out on 31 October, as well as a motion picture bid from German film company Boll KG, titled In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, currently in post-production and slated for a 2007 release.

The Deluxe Edition game comes packaged with a fold-out map of the world inside the game, digital computer wallpapers, a handful of concept art pictures and character portraits, and a video of the making of the game.

It is rated M and has a retail price of $40, a $20 discount over the game and the expansion, if purchased separately.
