Sony denies PS3 technical problems

  • Sony has spoken out against analyst reports issued earlier this week suggesting the PlayStation 3 suffers from technical issues stemming from its inherent design. According to Macquarie Equities, demo PS3 units showcased at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show "operated erratically and had to be repeatedly reset", leading its report to conclude that the console was prone to overheating at the venue.
