Blizzard looking to hire a console programmer
Could World of Warcraft or Starcraft: Ghost be coming to a game console near you? Blizzard, the makers of WoW and Starcraft, is looking for an experienced console programmer. The job ad, titled Next-Gen Senior Engine Programmer, is currently on Blizzard's website. The ideal candidate would have at least six years of game coding experience along with four years of writing engine code.
Blizzard planned to release its Starcraft: Ghost game for game consoles, but game development was "indefinitely postponed" back in May 2006. Blizzard runs several famous game franchises including Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo.
