There have been rumors of another Blade Runner movie for quite some time, and while we wouldn’t be surprised if Ridley Scott directs another installment to the classic Philip K Dick story, we’ve been very dubious about another rumor going around that claims Harrison Ford may be returning.
Ford and Scott famously did not get along during the Blade Runner shoot, and the movie was not a pleasant memory for Harrison. So once again these rumors have resurfaced, and Collider claims that Ford has spoken to Scott about possibly doing one more go around together.
Ford has apparently told IGN, “Yeah, we’ve been chatting about it.” Apparently forgetting the past bullsh*t they suffered between them, “I truly admire Ridley as a man and as a director, and I would be very happy to engage again with him in the further telling of this story.”
Again, we’re very surprised to read this, because the breakdown between the star and director was pretty severe. Maybe after all this time they want to bury the hatchet, who knows? In addition to a sequel to Blade Runner, Scott’s also been looking into doing another Prometheus movie, but no word on how that’s fairing as of late.
