Bethesda confirms February launch date for Skyrim PS3 DLCs

It’s probably safe to say that most PS3 owners have been less than thrilled with Bethesda over various issues plaguing Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.

After players finally got over a rather annoying game bug, they discovered that DLC releases such as Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn would be postponed for the PS3, perhaps even indefinitely.

Fortunately, Bethesda has confirmed that all three DLCs (w00T!) will be going live on the PS3 in February, with Dragonborn leading the way, followed by Hearthfire and Dawnguard.

“The 1.8 update will also release, just prior to Dragonborn. We’ll keep you posted as release dates get finalized both on our end and with Sony for each and its various languages,” a Bethesda rep wrote in an official blog post.

“Last but not least, each one will be 50% off during their launch week on PSN.”

The PC version of the Dragonborn expansion is expected to launch on February 5.
