IBM expands into Second Life
IBM plans on holding town hall meetings in Second Life's virtual world. Sam Palmisano, Chairman and CEO of IBM, will virtually meet more than 7000 employees in the game this Tuesday. He even plans on visiting more than 250 on IBM's virtual island.
The company plans on investing more than $10 million dollars into Second Life and wants a secure way of holding meetings with clients and other employees. It already meets more than 20 clients in the game.
Second Life one of the most popular online games. Players can own virtual property and real-world currency is freely transferable into virtual "Linden" dollars.
