Second Life gets its own reality TV show

Big Brother, the hit television show where contestants are stuck in a house, is coming to Second Life's virtual world. Fifteen players will stay in a glass house with one being voted off each week. The surviving player will get a virtual island with the game.

IBM expands into Second Life

IBM plans on holding town hall meetings in Second Life's virtual world. Sam Palmisano, Chairman and CEO of IBM, will virtually meet more than 7000 employees in the game this Tuesday. He even plans on visiting more than 250 on IBM's virtual island.

Rumor Mill: Best Buy PS3 allocation to be cut?

Neowin.net is reporting that Best Buy's PlayStation 3 allocation may be cut in half. An anonymous Best Buy employee told the website that the store will get getting approximately half of the units promised by Sony. Best Buy cancels PS3 pre-orders

Gamers who pre-ordered their Sony PlayStation 3 through Best Buy will be getting their money back. The retail giant has cancelled all pre-orders and sent emails to customers saying, "Your preorder for the PlayStation 3 gaming system will be cancelled."
