Wild Blood game play trailer surfaces from Gameloft

I’m quite certain that a fair number of gamers out there, even those who prefer PC gaming like myself, have been impressed by some of the iOS and Android mobile titles currently on the market.

Clearly, games for Android and Apple devices have come a long way over the years, from less than stellar graphics to advanced titles boasting impressive visuals and controls. Case in point – Wild Blood by Gameloft which is powered by Epic’s Unreal engine.

Wild Blood – headed to both Android and iOS devices – is optimized for both smartphones and tablets. Unfortunately, we still don’t know exactly when the game will be available, with Gameloft saying it will go live “very soon” for Android.

In other mobile gaming news, StepGames has released a new trailer for its (free) Android-powered Star Splitter, a game which Android Police describes as an “impressive looking space shooter that kinda reminds you of Starcraft.”

“[Yes], space games are a dime a dozen. Finding one that looks good is a bit of a challenge. Star Splitter manages to accomplish the task, though,” writes Eric Ravenscraft of Android Police.

“This space-based rail shooter has bright and complex scenery and a pretty cool system for ship upgrades and universes to explore. For the price tag of free, it’s a pretty well-rounded game.”

Star Splitter can be downloaded here at Google Play.
