Yesterday, we brought you the news that many dogs have more Facebook friends than you or me. And today, we'd like to introduce you to one of these superstar animals - Beast.
Not content with signing up the whole of the human race to Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has created an account for his Hungarian Puli sheepdog which has already received almost 40,000 'likes'.
We're assured that Beast is real, not stuffed, although he certainly doesn't look it from the pictures. You can just about make out which end is which.
Just two months old, Beast lists his interests as 'cuddling, loving and eating'. He lives in Palo Alto with Zuckerberg and girlfriend Priscilla Chan in their new apartment - and there are 17 pictures showing how he coped with the move.
The breed, famous for its dreadlocked hair, was originally bred to guard livestock - and wouldn't you run a mile if you saw an animated mop bounding towards you across the Hungarian plains?
According to the Puli Club of America, nomadic shepherds would often pay as much as a year's salary for one of the dogs, although we suspect Mark Zuckerberg probably didn't. The going rate seems to be about a thousand bucks.
Beast's only made a handful of posts so far - too busy learning to climb stairs, it seems. But what's been his most popular comment yet, liked by a whacking 2,422 people?
"I just took a dump and made Mark Zuckerberg pick it up. It was glorious," he says.
