This week we’ll take a look at Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell’s Precision Guided Musicians project - which fuses music and technology to transcend the barriers of conventional art - and much more!

"It's all about the music, and musicians who use precision guided instruments, like computers, synthesizers, mixing boards, drum machines etc," wrote the legendary Perry Farrell of his new project, Precision Guided Musicians, which he will be premiering on Dec. 2 at Art Basal in Miami Beach, FL. In addition to premiering the project at the massive art show, Farrell will also be awarding one lucky artist with a $7,000 grant and a gallery series in several major cities courtesy of Lola Ink Media.

Dean Fertita of such prolific acts as Queens of the Stone Age and The Dead Weather also recently announced a new project, this time an outfit by the name of Hello=Fire. The new supergroup will consist of members of Queens of the Stone Age Afghan Wigs and featuring songwriting by Raconteur member Brendan Benson.
