One step PDF scanning can reduce overhead

We all know that going paperless by converting your printed documents to digital formats can save time, storage space and reduce your paper consumption, but most of us don’t want to spend the time and energy scanning all those existing documents.

Most people don’t use scanners because they don’t want to deal with the hassles of scanning.  If you have ever tried to use a scanner, you know what I mean. Probably at the top of the list when it comes to scanning frustration is figuring out how to use the scanning applications in the first place. There seem to be hundreds of obscure adjustments and settings and many times the only way to get good results is by trial and error.

And once you’ve managed to scan a document there is the problem of how to convert the image into different formats such as PDF.

Fujitsu has a great compact, high speed, double sided, color scanner with a one-button scan. It can scan a double-side document in under 5 seconds – five seconds!  The Fujitsu S1500 uses their ScanSnap software which is very intuitive – even for the most novice user.
