XM announces split-screen portable radio

  • Washington, D.C. – XM will be offering a new radio that will make browsing through through XM channels more convenient.

     

    The new radio, dubbed XpressRC, comes with a color split-screen that displays current channel information in the main window as well as the titles of currently playing music on three other channels in a separate, scrollable window. The new feature promises listeners to browse through content provided on other channels without actually having to switch a channel.

    According to XM, the new 3.2 oz radio also comes with a 60 minute pause-and-replay buffer as well as enough memory to store up to 10 music tracks.

    The XpressRC is available is scheduled to become available this fall and sell for about $170.
