Tempe (AZ) - At a digital photo convention in Arizona this week, Vivitar introduced the Vivicam 6200w, a new 6 megapixel underwater digital camera.
The camera can withstand water pressure and prevent damage as deep as 30 feet. It also has a 2" LCD and a digital zoom of up to 4x. It writes to SD cards and sports a rugged exterior armor.
More specifications include 16 MB of internal memory and a shutter speed of 1/2000 of a second. It carries a suggested retail price of around $233.
Vivitar also today announced four new cameras ranging from 5 megapixels to 10 megapixels, which sell for $120 to $200.
