Chicago Autoshow spices up coverage with webcams

  • Chicago (IL) - The Chicago Autoshow is revving up its coverage with the addition of remotely-controlled webcams.  The webcams are spaced throughout the show floor and provide coverage of major booths like Ford, Chrysler, and Volkswagen.

There are six webcams placed around the edge of the convention hall.  Web surfers can simply view the streaming pictures or they can take control and pan/tilt/zoom the camera for a better view.  Snapshots can be taken and stored for later viewing.

The Chicago Autoshow attracts thousands of attendees each year and runs from February 9th to the 18th. You can access the webcams here .Both Java and non-Java webpages are available.
