Sony busts out with four new Cyber-shot cameras
Sony has announced four new cameras in their famous Cyber-shot line. All the cameras can take 7.2 megapixel pictures and have 3X optical zoom. The DSC-W55 will have a 2.5" LCD screen while the W35 will come with a 2" screen. The S700 and S650 cameras will have 2.4" and 2" screens respectively. The cameras also have internal memory so you can take shots without a memory card.
The W55 will be the flashiest camera and will come in Caribbean blue, pale pink, black and silver. All the other cameras will come in silver bodies.
All cameras use the Memory Stick Duo cards, but also have internal memory to store pictures. Sony claims that batteries should last around 380 to 460 pictures.
It's pretty amazing how cheap digital cameras have become and Sony is asking for $200 for the W55 and $180 for the W35. The S650 and S700 will sell for $150 and $180 respectively. All the cameras should be available in February.
