Las Vegas (NV) - The VTech most people know got its reputation from home phones and kids' electronics. The company is breaking that mold at CES this year, unveiling a WiFi music streaming device, the IS9181, priced at around $200.

The IS9181, as a wireless device, lets one stream over 11,000 free Internet radio stations as well as accessing audio files on local area network connected computers. A line-in jack also lets one connect to direct playback devices like MP3 and CD players.

Features of the IS9181 include 3W front-facing stereo speakers, a 10W subwoofer, Internet radio presets, optional battery power operation, a color LCD display, an included remote and weather and horoscopes text updater (based upon one's zip code). RCA connections are also built in for connecting to other audio devices.

VTech's new Internet radio tuner is due out this spring.
