Las Vegas (NV) - Pandigital, a developer of digital photo frames, added to its family of frames today a new model said to create the perception of a floating digital image. This new PanTouch Clear frame will be available in eight and seven inch screen sizes, pricing respectively around $140 and $120.
The PanTouch Clear frames feature an 800 x 600 resolution which Pandigital says appears to be floating in the surrounding glass, with the stand in back also being clear for better viewing. The company also says it enhanced a built-in, touch screen user interface seen on its previous models by making all major functions as a one-step touch and also allowing for icons to be touched directly across the frame's whole glass surface.
Major features of these frames include a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1 GB of memory stores up to 6,400 images, a built-in 6-in-1 digital media card reader, USB connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth wireless options for getting at photos from other devices, and support for MP3 audio.
Both frames come with a dark espresso wood frame, as well as white and charcoal interchangeable mats.
