Nissan announced on Wednesday that it is adding Google Maps, which provides high-resolution satellite maps, to its Carwings navigation system in Japan. The service will use Google Maps' new feature, a "car navigation link" that allows the forwarding of searched geographic information to navigation systems in a manner that is similar to what it does for e-mail and cell phones.
