Jason Hsuan, chairman and chief executive officer of TPV Technology indicated that though the economic outlook for 2009 is not good, priced for LCD TVs are getting cheaper and cheaper which will help stimulate demand. Hsuan estimates that global LCD TV shipments this year may reach 100 million units and market demand may reach 120-130 million units in 2009.
