You may remember the $222,000 fine imposed on Jammie Thomas for illegally sharing music files - and you may not be surprised to hear that the proceedings are still not done. Thomas' lawyer recently filed for a retrial because of a format trial error. The RIAA, however, opposes a retrial stating that there is enough evidence for Thomas' guilt and that the motion should be denied.
