San Jose (CA) – Ebay will increase its anti-fraud protection limits for both buyers and sellers this fall.  At the company’s annual conference, Ebay executives said buyers who use PayPal will be eligible for a full refund, with no cap, if they don’t receive the item.  Previously, this was capped at $2000.

Sellers will have similar protections and will get a full refund (with no cap) for reversed charges if the buyer claims to not have received the item.  The previous limit for this protection was $5000.

Ebay executives say these changes will take effect in the fall.
