Los Angeles (CA) – A female robber is behind bars today thanks to a well-timed text message. The robber stole a purse, wallet and mobile phone from a 90-year-old grandmother, in an attack that left the elderly victim with two broken ribs. A friend of the victim text messaged the phone and told the robber that he needed the grandmother’s phone and medical card back and offered a $40 reward.
The robber took the bait and agreed to meet the man. Apparently, she wasn’t trusting enough to go herself and sent her daughter instead. In this case, blood isn’t thicker than water and the daughter told police that her mother stole the phone. View video – CBS 2 Los Angeles via Breitbart
