Do they harvest the Hydrogen bush, and squeeze fresh hydrogen from it's fruit?

Without knowing where the energy to produce the hydrogen came from, how can they say it's {2,3} times as efficient?

hydrogen production is left out of the efficiency rating just like gasoline production is left out of the efficiency rating.

gasoline has:
survey costs
environmental study costs
land leasing costs
engineering/construction costs for each well
drilling and pumping costs
engineering/construction costs for each refinery
refining and waste management costs
shipping between every stage costs

and ethenol costs have just recently been in the spotlight.

I too would like to see a full end to end cost and waste analysis of current and alternate fuels.
