It seems that every time you turn around, every time a Goldman Sachs analyst raises the target price for a barrel of oil and every time someone talks about the chance of a Hurricane, your local gas station flips a switch and increases the per-gallon gas price by 10 cents these days. I came across this rather hilarious post “Indy 500 Drivers Upset: Gas Prices Rose 3 Times During Race“ earlier today, outlining the frustration about gas prices many of us are going through today. Perhaps by accident, this story also implies that especially those who are not driving the most gas-efficient vehicles are impacted the most and are the first to complain.

Google it, they're makin the switch. Although, their hybrid technology is quite interesting in that they transfer their breaking to a 5kg flywheel and then redistribute that torque back to the wheels when they accelerate... ... something like that. :)

Google "Dubai Architecture" and you'll know what my sarcastic title means. As long as oil production is in the hands of a few, it's going to stay high. Skeptics shouldn't have been ignored when they said that the World is running out of oil. Now greed and supply are in the favor of the oil production companies. The gas stations are making pennies per gallon, so boycotting the gas pump doesn't help the situation.
