Since you most likely will buy Blu-ray movies anyway when you are buying a Blu-ray player, we could consider this Blu-ray player almost a $250 Blu-ray player. We are talking about BestBuy’s house-brand Insignia “Blu-ray disc player with 1080p output.” It isn’t a particularly pretty device and it does not offer many features beyond Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD high-resolution surround as well as lossless Dolby TrueHD (2-channel), but it does support 1080p video output.
