Krumbach (Germany) – German police have taken a baby into protective custody after the mother tried selling him on eBay. The 23-year-old woman from Krumbach Germany auctioned her eight-month-old son for a starting bid of one Euro or approximately $1.57. She says it was all a joke, but police aren't laughing and think the mother might be involved in child trafficking.
The eBay auction text said the mother was selling the child because he “cries too much”. eBay removed the auction after just two hours. Read more … Reuters.
