Chicago (IL) – The joke that the boss is probably out golfing is apparently true in Chicago after the Superintendent of Sewers was caught at a suburban golf course during work hours. Winston Cole earns a cushy $106,000 a year with the Water Management Department, but is now on administrative leave after a GPS-enabled phone tracked him driving to a suburban golf course. In an effort to increase productivity, the city recently issued the phones and GPS-tracked work trucks to most department employees.
