Unless Nvidia can buy a CPU maker or design and fab their own AMD/ATI will have the upper hand. AMD would beable to sell to manufactures at a lower cost per a unit then can Intel/Nvidia. I think we will see AMD/ATI start out in lower end systems and then work there way up to the mid-range systems. Nvidia needs to get it in gear or they will start losing market share to AMD/ATI. And with the fluff that Microsoft has tried to pass off as a OS aka Vista you can only run one type of video drivers at a time so its ATI or Nvidia. XP users can mix and match video drivers with ease.

Just one more reason not to get Vista.
