If you looked through the ad section of last weekend’s newspaper, you already know that Acer’s sparkling Gemstone notebooks are now available in the U.S. The new series comes in 18.4” and 16” form factors, with Core 2 Duo T9500 processors, one or two 320 GB hard drives, 1920x1200 pixel screen resolution and Nvidia graphics chips.
Prices start at $849 for the 16” model and at $1299 for the 18.4” version.
