Dell to kill off most of its high-end XPS line PDF Print E-mail

Round Rock (TX) – Dell will be killing off four computers in its high-end XPS line next month.  According to the Wall Street Journal, the company wants consumers to focus on top-end machines from Alienware.

Dell purchased Florida-based Alienware back in 2006 for an undisclosed amount.  Since then, Alienware has operated pretty much untouched as a standalone unit of Dell.
