I'm hoping that this means we'll see more $60 motherboards like the D201GLY2, which is a fairly good deal, although it lacks the capabilities to run current software well (namely, Windows Vista). It's pretty decent for Windows XP though, and Windows Vista is OK for basic tasks when you load up one of those mobos with 1GB of RAM, but don't expect any heavy multitasking to perform well, or Aero to perform at all. The Celeron 220 on the D201GLY2 is based on Core microarchitecture, not Netburst, and includes Intel64 technology too. The Centrino Atom should (hopefully) be better. Any word on whether or not Intel is marketing Atom as a 64-bit part? Vista SP1 x64 benchmarks appear to be faster than x86 on the same hardware.
