Blockbuster is being sued over its partnership with Facebook and its Beacon marketing program which a Texas woman says violated her rights to privacy. Cathryn Elaine Harris has filed a lawsuit in Dallas stating that Blockbuster violated the federal Video Privacy Protection Act when it shares its rental information. Harris is seeking $2500 per violation by Blockbuster and Facebook, as stated in the act. Read the complete story here.
