Sharp plans to advance the start of volume production at its 10G LCD panel plant, which, according to the original schedule, would come online in March 2010, according to Shigeaki Mizushima, general manager for the company's Corporate Research and Development Group. Mizushima, making the revelations at Finetech Japan 2008, said the adjustment to the production schedule for the 10G line has been made to meet the demand of clients, but he did not specify a date for the new schedule.
