10 personal questions and 10 personal answers from Josh Smith, founder and chief executive officer of Biohazard Computer Systems. Biohazard is one of the very few builders of ultra-exclusive boutique PCs. There are very few wishes Josh and his crew can't accomodate: If you want to spend as much money on your next PC as families spend on a midsize car, Biohazard will create a custom PC that includes pretty much any high-end PC technology that money can buy. Josh was nice enough to answer our questions and you can read his answers here.

I couldn’t survive without my … wife.  Yeah, I know it sounds corny, but her support has been invaluable over the years.  There is no one I rely on more than her.

The best advice I ever got … “You are always going to face the choice between a hard right and an easy wrong, choose wisely”.  A person I have deep respect for passed this on to me; I think the phrase says it all.

A person/people I admire … Teachers and Police Officers. Over-worked, underpaid, and too often under-appreciated.

If I could go anywhere, or do anything, I would … Travel with my wife. I want to see as much of this planet as I can while I’m still on it, specifically Ireland, Italy, and Prague.

A technology I have no use for …
an iPod.  Granted they have great design etc., but I have no need for one. I can listen to music on my phone, and I don’t have the pocket space to carry the damn thing.

The best idea I had …
was to take nothing at face value. This is not to say I am pessimistic, but to quote those famous words “Trust…but verify”.  This especially applies to hardware …

Luxury is … sleeping at home after extended travel. While on the road, luxury is a nice Single Malt…served neat.

I wish I had invented …
the tree. Man, everybody uses those things!

My tombstone should read …
“Told you I was sick…”  Honestly, I would just want it to read something to the effect of “He is remembered, and those who knew him enjoyed the time they spent with him.”

A person/trend/technology to watch …  Biohazard, because we rock and we’re so modest ;-) I would say Asetek is definitely a company to watch, not just on the consumer products side, but also on the OEM side. They do what they do very well, and that is due, in no small part, to the fact that Andre knows his stuff.  It’s a case of a company being led by an engineer instead of the marketing department, and that’s how it should be.
